Law on the Protection of Personal Data
1. ENTRANCE
This privacy notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“LAW”) to inform data subjects/relevant persons about the processing of personal data collected by ENSAR ALUMINUM (“DATA CONTROLLER”).
The DATA CONTROLLER demonstrates utmost sensitivity and effort in the processing, protection, and security of personal data. Within this scope and in accordance with the LAW, the personal data of the relevant individuals may be processed by the DATA CONTROLLER.
2. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed for various purposes, without limitation, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law and the purposes stated in the Law. The DATA CONTROLLER strives to take the necessary legal, technical and administrative measures at the highest level to prevent the unlawful processing of personal data and unlawful access to data, and to ensure the secure storage of personal data.
3. SHARING AND TRANSFERRING PERSONAL DATA
Personal data collected from employees, customers, suppliers, and citizens may be shared with DATA CONTROLLERS, suppliers, service providers, and legally authorized institutions and organizations within the framework of the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, and in accordance with relevant legislation, personal data processing conditions, and purposes.
The DATA CONTROLLER takes all necessary administrative and technical measures and security precautions when sharing personal data. The DATA CONTROLLER adheres to its duty of care and diligence in the transfer and sharing of your data, and values your data and its security.
4. METHOD OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL BASIS
The DATA CONTROLLER collects personal data through all kinds of auditory, written, visual and electronic methods, and within the framework of the purposes stated in this disclosure text, based on many legal grounds such as ensuring that the services provided by the DATA CONTROLLER are in compliance with the laws and relevant legislation, and that the Institution fully fulfills its contractual and legal obligations, and processes, shares and transfers this data in accordance with the conditions specified in the LAW. The legal grounds are shown in the disclosure text created for each activity, which can be found on kvkk.ktb.gov.tr.
5. RIGHTS OF PERSONAL DATA SUBJECTS AND PROTECTION OF THESE RIGHTS
Data subjects have the right to exercise their rights in accordance with Article 11 of the LAW;
1. To find out whether your personal data is being processed,
2. The right to request information regarding the processing of personal data.
3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is being used appropriately for that purpose.
4. Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, whether domestically or internationally.
5. The right to request the correction of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately.
6. Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the law,
7. In accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the law, we request that the actions taken be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred.
8. The right to object to an outcome that is detrimental to oneself, resulting from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems.
9. Individuals have the right to claim compensation for damages incurred as a result of the unlawful processing of their personal data.
To exercise these rights, data subjects may apply to the DATA CONTROLLER in writing or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Applications will be processed as soon as possible, but in any case within a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of the request.
